These Terms of Service are subject to change at anytime and it is the user's responsibility to check for and abide to all revisions at all times, even if no notice of a change is given. All players whose accounts are banned or deleted for violating these terms of service will not receive any refunds for donations or payments.

Connectivity
The website and the game of Fate and Fortune does not guarantee connectivity or availability and is distributed on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

Privacy Policy
Your private information will not knowingly be given or sold to a 3rd party or anyone else except for when it is requested by law personnel. There is no guarantee that your private information is safe from someone who attempts to hack or steal information from our database, but we will do our best to prevent that from happening.

If someone does succeed in obtaining information from our database, the creator of Fate and Fortune, and the game's moderators and administrators will not be responsible or held liable for any legal claims, damages, financial losses, or personal injury directly or indirectly related to someone else obtaining that information.

Accounts
Players have no legal claim to any game account(s). Players must heed to any instructions given by a game moderator or game administrator, which are able to temporarily or permanently ban any account and/or ban the IP address of a user at any time with or without warning.

This game is not intended for persons under 13 years of age. There may be chat, forum, or game content that is not suitable for anyone under the age of 13. By registering an account you are agreeing to these terms of service and stating that you are exactly 13 or older than 13 years old. Players found to be under the age of 13 may have their accounts banned or deleted with or without warning at anytime.

Rules
These are the rules, and breaking any one of them may result in having the rule breaker being given a warning, or having their account(s) banned or deleted.

No:

Sharing your password with anyone. Account sharing (Multiple persons using the same account). Posting images or links of advertisements, pornographic material, phishing websites, hacking related content, websites containing viruses or spyware. Attempting to reverse engineer, hack the game/server/database, send a virus, or use spy ware. Using software that interferes with the correct functioning of Fate and Fortune. Using a program to replicate the actions of a player such as a bot, a script, or a macro. Doing anything to violate system or network security. Harassing, belittling, or cursing at other players. Impersonating other players (Especially moderators or administrators). Using excessive profane language. Whether or not it is excessive will be determined by a moderator or administrator. Posting anything with racism, discrimination or unacceptable topics. Spamming or Flooding the Chat, Forums, or the Private Message System. Using a bug or a loophole to gain an unfair advantage over other members (If a bug or loophole is found, report it to a staff member immediately).

Multiple Accounts
Since Fate and Fortune is in alpha testing, currently you are allowed 3 accounts. As soon as the final version of Fate and Fortune is released, any person found to have multiple accounts will have all found accounts deleted.

Liability
Fate and Fortune and its creator, staff members, and affiliates will not be held responsible or liable for any legal claims, damages, financial losses, or personal injury from the use of this website or any of its services. Fate and Fortune does not guarantee that this site or its materials are error-free or will work at all, and that the site or the server that it's running on is free of viruses or spyware.

Miscellaneous
Other sections of the game may have their own rules (such as the chat and forums). Those rules are an addition to these terms of service, not a replacement.

Fate and Fortune reserves the right to change any aspect of the game at any time and does not guarantee that character/account information will be restored if a loss of data occurs.

Fate and Fortune staff members can’t monitor the game every second of the day, so it is your responsibility to act in a mature manner and follow all of the rules. Posts made by people playing Fate and Fortune do not necessarily express the same views and opinions that Fate and Fortune does. All posts are the views and beliefs of the author.

Players should never give out personal information or sensitive account information, such as passwords, to anyone.

All players agree to these terms of service and are legally bound to them.
